XEN1 uses a single xenon flashing tube for indoor explosion-proof areas. XEN4 uses four strobe tubes sequentially to simulate a rotating beacon, ideal for outdoor use.

The 2000 Series beacon can be externally powered by either a DC or an AC power source. Screw type terminal blocks are provided for field wiring.

The 2000 Series beacon has an IP66 enclosure rating, meaning it is sealed from dust and water by a nitrile rubber o-ring seal.

The beacons are approved for use in Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22 Atmospheres. They are ATEX, IECEx, and CE Certified.
