Mounting screws, Anchors (provided), 9VDC battery (included)

  1. Unpack and Inspect the Unit

    Carefully unpack the PSCE-Y Sounder-Cover and inspect it for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Do not proceed with installation if the unit is damaged.

  2. Mark and Drill Mounting Holes

    Hold the frame of the Sounder-Cover over the unit to be protected and mark four holes for installation. Drill four 1/4” holes approximately 1-1/4” deep at the marked locations.

  3. Install Anchors and Mount the Cover

    Insert the provided anchors into the drilled holes. Place the entire Sounder-Cover assembly over the unit to be protected and secure it using the mounting screws.

  4. Activate the Sounder

    Remove the deactivation pin from the back of the Sounder-Cover. The horn should sound, indicating that the installation is successful.

  5. Close the Cover

    Ensure that everything is properly secured and close the cover of the Sounder-Cover.

  6. Test the Sounder

    After installation, test the sounder to ensure that it is operating properly. If it does not sound, verify all connections and the battery.
