- Unpack and Inspect the Device
Carefully unpack the LHWB kit and inspect all components for damage. Ensure that all parts, including the wall bracket and weatherproof backbox, are present.
- Mount the Backbox
Using the backbox as a template, mark the location of the mounting holes on the surface. Drill holes and securely attach the backbox with user-supplied hardware that can support the weight of the light and bracket.
- Connect the Wiring
Feed the supply wires through the backbox and leave 6 inches of wire inside for light connection. Plug any unused entries with the supplied conduit plugs.
- Attach the Light
For 3/4" NPT pipe mount lights, feed wires from the light through the provided conduit nipple and secure it. For other sizes, use the reducers provided in the hardware kit.
- Secure the Wall Bracket
Feed the wires through the opening on the wall bracket and secure all NPT connections. Attach the bracket assembly to the backbox using the four supplied screws and screw collars, tightening to approximately 15 in-lb.
- Make Electrical Connections
Follow the instructions provided with the warning light to make the necessary wiring connections. Ensure that a ground screw is connected if required.
- Test the Installation
Apply power to the system and test to ensure that the warning light operates correctly and achieves its intended effect.
