The CompleTech CA830X+ is a cross-polarized Yagi antenna designed for reliable wireless communication within the 791-862 MHz frequency range. This antenna features dual/circular polarization, providing enhanced signal integrity and interference resistance crucial for demanding applications. With a substantial 8 dBi gain, the CA830X+ ensures strong signal transmission and reception. Its impedance is 50 ohm, and it maintains a VSWR of less than 1.5, indicating excellent impedance matching and minimal signal reflection. The antenna's construction includes a UV-resistant ABS/FG radome with PU foam filling, offering robust protection against environmental factors. The radiator is made of copper, and passive elements are coated aluminum. Designed for versatility, the CA830X+ supports both circular and slanted polarization modes. It features two N- or 7/16-female connectors for flexible connectivity. The antenna is built to withstand harsh conditions, operating within a temperature range of -40ºC to +80ºC and boasting an IP67 rating for dust and water ingress protection. Mounting is facilitated by an aluminum alloy bracket compatible with poles of 35-60 mm diameter, secured with stainless steel V-bolts and self-locking nuts. The lightning protection is DC-short circuited, ensuring safety. Key frequency-independent features include a radome-enclosed radiator, a DC shorted feed point, integrated impedance compensation, and an integrated RF choke, all contributing to its durability, light weight, and low wind load (56 N).
