Overview

The CompleTech CA400X+ is a cross-polarized Yagi antenna designed for reliable communication within the 380-410 MHz frequency range. This antenna features dual/circular polarization, ensuring robust signal transmission and reception, making it suitable for critical industrial, military, and telecommunications applications. With a gain of 8/8 dBi, the CA400X+ delivers superior performance in challenging environments. Its construction utilizes a copper radiator and a UV-resistant ABS/FG, RAL 7012, PU foam radome, providing excellent weather resistance and mechanical stability. The antenna supports multiple connector options, including N-, TNC-, and 7/16-female, allowing for versatile integration with existing systems. Engineered for a low VSWR of <1.5, it minimizes signal reflection. The radome is IP67 rated, offering protection against dust and water ingress. Mounting is facilitated on poles with a diameter of 35-60 mm using an aluminium alloy bracket with stainless steel V-bolts and self-locking nuts. The antenna is DC short-circuited for lightning protection and operates within a temperature range of -40ºC to +80ºC. The CA400X+ is a passive antenna with a 50-ohm impedance and offers 30 dB isolation. Its physical design is a quarter wavelength along the boom phased.
