The CompleTech CA160Y is a directional Yagi antenna engineered for reliable communication within the 154-166 MHz frequency band. This antenna delivers a consistent 6 dBi gain, ensuring effective signal transmission and reception. It supports both vertical and horizontal polarization, offering flexibility for diverse deployment scenarios. The CA160Y features a robust construction with a copper radiator and a UV-resistant ABS/FG radome filled with PU foam, providing durability and protection against environmental factors. Its impedance is rated at 50 ohms, and it boasts a VSWR of less than 1.5, critical for maintaining signal integrity. Connectivity is facilitated through versatile N-, TNC-, and 7/16-female connectors. The antenna is designed for straightforward mounting on poles with diameters ranging from 35 to 60 mm, utilizing an aluminum alloy bracket with stainless steel V-bolts and self-locking nuts. It is DC short-circuited for lightning protection and operates effectively within a temperature range of -40ºC to +80ºC, with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.
