The DFC01 is a precise frequency monitoring relay that measures if the power supply frequency is within set limits, monitoring its own power supply.

The DFC01 has 2 x SPDT relays with contact ratings of 8 A @ 250 VAC (Resistive loads AC1) and 2.5 A @ 24 VDC (DC13).

The DFC01 is available with power supplies of 24/48 VAC ± 15% or 115/230 VAC ± 15%, operating at 40 to 70 Hz.

Frequency ranges (2 Hz or 10 Hz) and levels (upper/lower) are selectable by DIP-switches, with upper and lower frequency levels adjustable on a relative scale.

The DFC01 can operate in temperatures ranging from -20 to +60°C with a relative humidity of less than 95%.

The DFC01 has a 45 mm Euronorm housing with dimensions of 45 x 80 x 99.5 mm and is designed for mounting on a DIN-rail.

LED indications are provided for power supply ON (green), alarm ON (red, flashing during delay), and output relays ON (yellow).

Separately adjustable delay functions for alarms are available from 0.1 to 30 seconds.

The rated operational voltage is supplied through terminals A1, A2 or A3, A2, with options for 24/48 VAC or 115/230 VAC.

The output relays have a mechanical life of at least 30 million operations and an electrical life of at least 100,000 operations at 8 A, 250 V.
