Overview
The ABB FSCA-01-KIT (SKU: FSCA-01-KIT) is an essential RS-485 adapter module designed for seamless integration of ABB Low Voltage Drives into industrial Modbus/RTU networks. Operating as a Modbus/RTU slave device, it supports both ABB Drives and Transparent profiles, ensuring broad compatibility. The FSCA-01 provides critical galvanic isolation, safeguarding your drive from electrical noise and surges present on the RS-485 network. It efficiently converts the drive's native serial communication signals to robust RS-485 signal levels, enabling reliable, long-distance data transmission. Key features include a built-in bus termination resistor, which can be activated via a jumper for optimal signal integrity, and fail-safe circuitry to maintain stable communication. This module supports standard Modbus function codes for reading and writing registers (0x03, 0x06, 0x10), facilitating comprehensive control and monitoring. Manufactured in Denmark (DK), the FSCA-01-KIT is a dependable solution for enhancing connectivity and control within ABB drive systems in various industrial applications.

FENA-21
The FENA 21 DualPort module supports Three protocols Modbus-TCP, EtherNet/IP, and the PROFInet IO RT network. The Modbus-TCP protocol is simply the Modbus protocol used on top of Ethernet-TCP/IP. Modbus-TCP is an open Industrial Ethernet network which has been specified by the Modbus-IDA User Organization. EtherNet/IP is based on the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP), which is also the framework for both the ControlNet and DeviceNet network protocols. PROFInet IO RT is an open network based on the PI Organization standard.
