Overview
The ABB Low Voltage Drives Manual Starter, SKU 2UEA001449, provides reliable direct-on-line (DOL) starting for three-phase asynchronous motors up to 690V AC. Manufactured by ABB, this manual starter ensures full-voltage starting with high torque (1.9-2.1 times nominal) and starting current (5.5-7 times nominal). It offers protection against overload via integrated thermal overload relays and meets IEC/EN 60947-4-1 standards. Rated for 50/60 Hz operation, it supports switching frequencies of up to 15 starts/hour at 80% load or 30 starts/hour at 50% load, with a maximum starting time of 1.5 seconds. This starter is ideal for applications requiring simple, economic, and dependable motor control. It is compatible with AF contactors and available in open type versions for kit assembly, supporting coordination types 1 and 2 for short-circuit protection.
