Overview

ABB XD8NM Carlon Non-Metallic Expansion/Deflection Coupling. Joins rigid PVC conduit runs, accommodating movement at structural joints. Handles axial deflection up to 3/4" (from relaxed) and angular deflection up to 30° (from relaxed). Meets 2014 NEC Article 300.4(H) for raceways crossing expansion/contraction/deflection joints. Features flexible neoprene outer jacket with tamperproof stainless steel straps. Suitable for wet locations. Inner sleeve maintains smooth inner diameter for easy wire pulling. Installs up to 5x faster than traditional methods, reducing labor and SKU count (5-to-1). Compatible with Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 rigid PVC conduit. UV-resistant for outdoor use. Suitable for indoor/outdoor, direct burial, and concrete embedding. Applications include overhead walkways and hospitals. 3-inch trade size. Dimension A: 11.36 inches. Dimension B: 5.60 inches.
