- Install Dies for 1/2" Connectors

- Install Dies for 5/8" Connectors
To prepare the tool for 5/8" compression connectors, pull the upper die straight out of the tool head. Reverse the die and re-insert it so the '5/8"' marking is readable. Refer to Figure C in the manual for the correct orientation.
- Test Tool Compression (Optional)
To verify proper compression, place a tolerance gauge between the dies and close the tool. If the gauge is not held firmly in place, the tool is below tolerance and should be returned to the factory for repair.
