Overview

The ABB TCC10-G (SKU: TCC10-G) is a 4-inch (103mm) nominal pipe size split coupling designed for joining threaded conduit where standard couplings cannot be used due to installation constraints or existing piping configurations. Constructed from durable malleable iron, this coupling features a double coating system for superior corrosion resistance in industrial environments. The interior and exterior surfaces are coated with a nominal 0.002-inch (2 mil) blue urethane layer, providing excellent protection against moisture, chemicals, and corrosive agents. Additionally, a minimum 0.040-inch (40 mil) PVC layer is bonded to the exterior, further enhancing resistance to abrasion, impact, and harsh environmental conditions such as UV exposure, salt spray, and extreme temperatures. The split coupling design simplifies installation and maintenance by allowing the coupling to be installed around existing piping without disassembly, reducing operational downtime in industrial piping systems. Stainless steel hardware is included for added durability and corrosion resistance, ensuring long-term performance in demanding applications. This coupling is suitable for applications transporting water, gas, chemicals, and other fluids in industrial environments, including chemical processing plants, water treatment facilities, oil and gas operations, and manufacturing plants. Available in gray as standard, with blue and white options also offered for color-coding or aesthetic preferences.
