- Prepare the conduit
Properly cut the flexible conduit with a clean, square end cut using a sharp hacksaw or a power band saw. Avoid using abrasive wheels.
- Assemble the grounding components
Remove the round shape support from the PVC coating on the gland nut, then slide the gland and nylon sealing ring onto the conduit. Ensure the open side of the lug on the ground ring is facing the gland nut.
- Install the grounding cone
Thread the ground cone into the conduit and slide the body onto the cone. Tighten the gland per the torque chart provided in the documentation.
- Connect the grounding conductor
Install the grounding conductor in the lug and tighten the lug screw according to the torque table specifications.
- Mount the controller
Secure the ST4GR-G controller to the DIN rail using the integrated clips. Ensure it is level and firmly attached.
