How to Install and Re-connect the SSL-750-LINK Service Entrance Disconnect System
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing a new breakaway link and re-connecting single or multiple services using the SSL-750-LINK system. Always follow standard safety practices and wear appropriate insulating gloves when working on energized circuits.

Tools needed:
Insulating gloves, Basic electrical hand tools
Supplies needed:
New breakaway link, Neutral pin, Hot load-side pin, Hot feed-side socket, Cover and cap, Contact block, Hot leg pins, Flood Seal® insulating rockets
- Secure Service Drop and Install Breakaway Link
To replace a breakaway link, first secure the service drop. Then, install the new breakaway link between the neutral wedge and the pole mounting hardware.
- Connect Neutral Pin and Insulate (Breakaway Link)
Insert the neutral pin into the neutral socket. After mating the connector, slide the Flood Seal® insulating rocket down over the connected assembly.
- Connect First Hot Load-Side Pin (Single Service Re-connect)
For a single service re-connection, insert one hot load-side pin into a hot feed-side socket. Ensure the connection is secure, then slide the cover and cap together over the connection. Connection to the service may be made with the contact block energized, but it must not be under load.
- Connect Remaining Hot Feed-Side (Single Service Re-connect)
Repeat the previous step for the other hot feed-side connection, inserting the pin and securing the cover and cap.
- Insert Neutral Pin into Contact Block (Multi Service Re-connect)
For multi-service re-connection, insert the neutral pin into the contact block. The neutral is located in the center row and is identified with a white marker. Note that the neutral body is oversized and cannot be inserted into a hot leg tower.
- Insert Hot Leg Pins and Insulate (Multi Service Re-connect)
Insert one of the hot leg pins into one of the outer contact block towers. Slide the Flood Seal® insulating rockets over the towers. Do not use silicone grease. Repeat this process for all other services.
