Overview

The ABB SRTC-050 nonmetallic threaded strain relief fitting (SKU: SRTC-050) is a UL-listed, CSA-certified solution designed for secure and reliable outdoor electrical installations. This 1/2-inch fitting features a durable gray nylon body with a zinc-plated steel locknut and neoprene O-ring, providing Type 3R (without O-ring/locknut) or Type 6P (with O-ring/locknut) environmental protection. The fitting includes four interchangeable elastomer bushings (grommets) in orange, yellow, black, and gray, accommodating a wide range of NM-sheathed cables (14/3, 12/3, 10/3, 14/2, 12/2, 10/2) and cord cables (0.240–0.450 inches in diameter). Engineered for temperatures up to 90°C (85°C with impact), the SRTC-050 ensures long-term performance in wet or corrosive environments. Ideal for use with Carlon PVC conduit systems, this fitting simplifies cable management while preventing strain and abrasion at entry points. The threaded design allows for quick installation and secure attachment to enclosures, junction boxes, or electrical panels. Packaged in a single-unit bag with 25 bags per outer carton (300 units total), the SRTC-050 is a cost-effective, high-utility solution for residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems requiring durable, nonmetallic strain relief.
