SCG series cable glands are constructed from Stainless steel 316L with Chloroprene seals.

The normal operating temperature range for these cable glands is -20 to +100°C (-4 to +212°F).

The cable glands have ingress protection ratings of IP66, IP68 (5 bar 30 mins), and NEMA 4.

These cable glands conform to UL514B/CSA C22.2 No 18.3, EN 62444, RoHS, WEEE, and LVD directives.

The SCG series cable glands are suitable for non-armoured, portable, and tray cable types.

The SCG-M404 cable gland has an M40x1.5 metric thread.

The SCG-M404 supports a cable diameter range from 22.0 mm (0.866 in) to 32.0 mm (1.26 in).

The nominal dimensions for SCG-M404 are A=9.0 mm (0.354 in), B=47.5 mm (1.87 in), C=55.5 mm (2.185 in), W1=50.0 mm (1.969 in), and W2=50.0 mm (1.969 in).
