Overview

The ABB RE41-G Urethane Coated Reducing Bushing, manufactured by ABB - Installation Products, is designed for efficient conduit size reduction in industrial electrical installations. This bushing facilitates a transition from a 1-1/4 inch (35 Metric) pipe size to a 1/2 inch (16 Metric) pipe size. It features a durable urethane coating, providing enhanced resistance to abrasion and corrosion, crucial for maintaining system integrity in harsh environments. The Ocal-Blue® urethane coating offers nominal 0.002" (2 mil) protection on both interior and exterior surfaces, complementing a nominal 0.040" (40 mil) PVC coating bonded to the exterior for superior protection. This product is constructed from steel with an electrogalvanized and chromate treatment prior to PVC coating. The RE41-G is certified and compliant with NEC/CEC Class I, divisions 1 and 2, groups C, D; Class II, division 1, groups E, F, G; Class II, division 2, groups F, G; and Class III. It also meets UL standard UL1203 and CSA standard C22.2 No. 30. The integral bushing design prevents damage to wires during installation and pulling, while the funnel-shaped interior guides wires smoothly from the larger to the smaller conduit size. This reducing bushing is manufactured in the USA. SKU: RE41-G. UNSPSC Code: 39121312.
