Superstrut channel is supplied in Type 304 stainless steel when required. Type 316 stainless steel may be available upon request.

GoldGalv is a multi-step electrogalvanizing and zinc trivalent chromium process. It creates a chemically bonded, non-porous barrier for protection from moisture and air.

SilverGalv, also called "zinc plated" or "electroplated zinc," bonds steel with 0.5 mils of zinc through electrolysis.

Urethane powder resins are electrostatically applied to steel after fabrication, creating a minimum 2.5 mils thick coating with excellent resistance to chipping or peeling.

Pre-galvanized involves zinc coating steel coil at the mill before fabrication. Minimal protection is provided for raw edges after processing.

Hot-dipped galvanized material is zinc coated after fabrication by dipping in hot zinc, providing total product protection on all surfaces.

Hot-dipped galvanizing is not recommended for threaded products because the zinc coating thickness can disrupt the threads.

PVC Coated finish applies a polyvinyl chloride plastic coating to the channel after fabrication. The fused-melted powder coating has a thickness of 15 mils (+/- 5 mils).

The black finish is raw steel with only a light oil finish from the manufacturer. It offers no protection against red rust.
