- Attach latch assembly to enclosure
Attach the latch assembly to the enclosure. For external hinge enclosures (NPL1S), ensure the latch is oriented correctly. For enclosures 12x10 inches and larger, two latches may be required.
- Remove cover screws
Remove the two screws from the enclosure cover.
- Install hole plugs
Install the provided hole plugs into the holes where the cover screws were removed.
- Secure the latch
With the latch in the open position, firmly hold down the back of the base. Engage the bail hook with the molded keeper on the cover. Turn the latch handle a quarter turn to seat the latch on the enclosure.
