Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Ty-Rap cable ties
- Mount the controller
Secure the M2D4M-2 controller to the DIN rail using the integrated clips. Ensure the controller is level and firmly attached.
- Strip and connect wires
Strip the ends of the wires to the appropriate length and attach them to the male and female motor disconnects as specified in the installation instructions.
- Crimp connectors
Use an appropriate crimping tool to crimp the connectors onto the stripped wires, ensuring a secure connection.
- Insert male pin into female barrel
Push the male pin into the female barrel until it is fully inserted, creating a secure pigtail connection.
- Slide on boot/insulator
Slide the boot or insulator onto the pigtail connectors until it stops, ensuring proper insulation.
- Secure the boot with cable ties
Fasten the first Ty-Rap cable tie at the middle of the boot/insulator and tighten it snugly. Fasten the second tie 1/4 inch from the end of the boot and cut any excess tie flush with the head.
