Overview

The ABB LBH40-G is a 90-degree pulling elbow specifically designed for hazardous locations, ensuring safe and reliable conduit system bends. Constructed from durable gray iron, this elbow features a nominal 0.040" (40 mil) PVC coating bonded to the exterior, providing robust protection against corrosion and environmental factors. The interior and exterior also benefit from a nominal 0.002" (2 mil) blue urethane coating. This series is engineered to make 90° bends in conduit systems, allowing for straight wire pulls in either direction while maintaining the integrity of hazardous location installations. The LBH series is suitable for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G; Class II, Division 2, Groups F and G; and Class III environments when installed in accordance with NEC standards. Key features include pressure-sealing sleeves that effectively seal connections, maintaining the explosion-proof and dust-ignition-proof ratings of the conduit system. The pipe size is 1-1/4 Inch, with a corresponding metric size designator of 35. The dark gray finish offers enhanced visibility and durability.
