Overview

The ABB Installation Products LA400-30 is a 4-inch diameter, 30-meter length liquidtight flexible steel conduit designed for industrial electrical protection. The conduit features a spiral-wound, heavy-gauge, hot-dipped galvanized steel core with a fully interlocked strip construction for maximum mechanical strength and flexibility. The exterior is jacketed with a high-quality, rugged, flame-retardant flexible PVC compound that resists oils, mild acids, and sunlight exposure, ensuring long-term performance in harsh environments. This conduit is UL Listed to ANSI/UL-360 and CSA Certified to CSA 22.2 No. 56, meeting stringent safety standards for exposed or concealed installations. It is rated for direct burial and poured concrete applications, with a working temperature range of -20°C to 60°C (intermittent to 90°C). The LA400-30 is suitable for containing circuits up to 600 volts and is sunlight resistant. Standard color is machine tool grey, with other colors available upon request. The conduit has an inside bend radius of 12 inches (304.8 mm) and weighs 154 kg per 30 meters. Ideal for industrial, commercial, and outdoor electrical installations requiring protection against moisture, dust, and mechanical damage while maintaining cable routing flexibility.
