How to Install the J-Line Receptacle
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing a J-Line receptacle, ensuring proper wiring and secure mounting.

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Ohmmeter, Torque wrench, Drill
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Sealing washers, Lock washers, Ground wire
- Prepare the mounting location
Turn power off. Drill mounting holes in the enclosure according to the provided specifications.
- Strip the cable
Strip the cable jacket and conductor insulation to the dimensions specified in the installation guide.
- Assemble conductors to the receptacle
Insert the stripped ends of each conductor into the appropriate terminals of the receptacle. Tighten the pressure screws to the specified torque values.
- Mount the receptacle
Assemble the receptacle gasket and receptacle to the enclosure using the provided screws, sealing washers, and lock washers. Ensure the lock washers and nuts are on the inside of the enclosure.
- Verify connections
Use an ohmmeter to perform continuity checks on the wiring to ensure correct phasing and grounding connections.
- Power on and test the system
