This 1-1/4 inch hub features a flame-retardant insulated throat molded from 105°C-rated thermoplastic with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, ensuring compliance with stringent safety standards. The integrated nitrile rubber (BUNA-N) sealing ring is captivated in a uniquely designed groove to prevent buckling or slipping during installation, delivering a complete 360° seal even when the conduit is not perpendicular to the enclosure. The hexagonal/splined body and locknut design, with peripheral slots and 30° spaced splines, enables rapid torque application using standard tools like wrenches or screwdrivers. The locknut and hub feature sharper, deeper teeth for superior bonding to the enclosure, while the precision-machined tapered threads create a watertight union. Certified to UL E3060 and conforming to UL514B, this hub meets NEMA sealing requirements for NEMA 3R, 4, and 13 enclosures, making it ideal for harsh industrial environments.
