Overview

The ABB HK 107 is a 2-1/2 inch set screw coupling designed for rigid and intermediate metal conduit. Constructed from durable malleable iron with a zinc-plated finish, this coupling offers robust corrosion resistance and long-term performance in industrial applications. Its set screw design ensures a secure connection, eliminating the need for conduit threading and providing positive holding strength and ground continuity. The captive hex head screw is hardened for enhanced durability and is designed to prevent vibration loosening. This coupling features an insulated throat, which meets and exceeds code requirements for bushings, preventing conductor insulation thinning, reducing wire pulling effort by up to 50%, and protecting the first thread from damage. The HK 107 is approved for concrete-tight applications, making it suitable for installations where it will be embedded in concrete. It is listed and certified by UL (File No: E-23018) and CSA (LR-2884, LR-4484), and conforms to UL 514B, CSA C22.2 No. 18, NFPA 70-1999 (ANSI), NEMA FB1, Federal Specification W-F-408, and Federal Standard H-28 (Threads). This coupling is capable of carrying ground fault currents up to 20,000 amps RMS for sizes 2 inches and above. Ideal for connecting threadless rigid metal conduit or intermediate metal conduit to boxes, enclosures, or for coupling conduit ends in electrical installations, construction, and industrial settings. Trust ABB Installation Products for precision-engineered components that deliver exceptional reliability and safety.
