ABB GTC23 Copper Tower Ground Clamp (SKU: GTC23) is a two-piece clamp for substations and tower footings. Made by ABB Installation Products, it fits 4 AWG solid to 2/0 AWG stranded copper conductors. Constructed from high-strength, corrosion-resistant copper alloy for harsh environments. Features a two-piece design for secure grip on conductor and grounding surface, enabling efficient current dissipation and surge protection. Includes a ½" bolt with ribbed neck to prevent rotation, allowing single-wrench installation. Designed for flat metal surfaces, ideal for substation tower footings requiring robust, maintenance-free connections. Key dimensions: channel thickness ¼", A: 1 15/64", B: 7/16", D: 9/16", E: 1 17/32", G: 1 17/32", H: 7/8". Supports conductor ranges 21.1 mm² (min) to 67.4 mm² (max). For ½" channel thickness, use GTC23L variant. Engineered for aluminum and copper conductors, suitable for industrial and commercial grounding systems.
