Overview

The ABB FS116T is a female screw terminal insert designed for ABB's T series connectors. This insert provides 16 contacts, each with a dedicated ground connection, ensuring reliable electrical continuity. It is compatible with ABB accessories such as MS116, MS132, MS165, MO132, and MO165. The terminal insert supports a wide range of wire gauges, including rigid solid/stranded wire from 1 to 2.5 mm² (or 2x 1 to 2.5 mm²), and flexible wire with ferrules from 0.75 to 2.5 mm² (or 2x 0.75 to 2.5 mm²). For flexible wire with insulated ferrules, it accommodates 1 to 2.5 mm² (or 2x 0.75 to 1.5 mm²). UL/CSA stranded wire compatibility ranges from AWG 18 to 14 for one or two conductors. The required stripping length for most connections is 10 mm. Screw terminals have a tightening torque of 1.2 Nm (11 lb. in) and utilize M3.5 screws. The recommended screwdriver types are a flat Ø 5.5 mm or Pozidriv 2. This insert offers an IP20 degree of protection according to IEC/EN 60947-1 and IEC/EN 60529. The screws are delivered in an open position and must be tightened for unused terminals. ABB Products are proudly distributed by Gross Automation.
