This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the FPT4-CVR-TALM Poke Through Cover, ensuring a secure and waterproof fit.

Screwdriver, Caulking gun
Supplies needed:
#6-32 x 3/4” screws, #6-32 x 1/4” flat head screws, Sealant or caulk
- Remove the temporary cover
Unscrew the (4) #6-32 x 3/4” long screws to remove the temporary cover from the poke through, exposing the mounting ring.
- Prepare the floor for installation
For carpet, wood, tile, and linoleum, ensure there is a 7” diameter opening around the center of the poke through. Use the provided template for accuracy. No preparation is needed for concrete.
- Attach the trim plate
Align the holes in the trim plate with the holes in the poke through mounting ring and secure it using the (4) #6-32 x 1/4” long flat head screws provided.
- Apply sealant
For concrete and carpet, apply a complete bead of sealant around the trim plate, keeping it within 1/4” from the edge. For tile, wood, and linoleum, apply sealant around the 7” diameter opening.
- Install the cover
Attach the cover to the trim plate using the (4) #6-32 x 1/4” flat head screws provided.
- Secure the cover
Close the lid and push down on the top of the cover to fully seat it against the floor. Step on the cover to ensure it is firmly in place and clean any excess sealant around the edges.
