Overview

The ABB FDC2-G (SKU: FDC2-G) is a deep-style, single-gang feed-thru device box from the FD Series, engineered for robust industrial electrical installations. Constructed from a high-quality iron alloy, this box features a protective Ocal-Blue® double-coat system, including an interior blue urethane layer and a nominal 0.040" (40 mil) PVC coating bonded to the exterior. This double coating provides superior corrosion resistance and longevity, making it suitable for demanding environments. The FDC2-G is designed to accommodate 3/4-inch (21 Metric) conduit sizes, ensuring secure and reliable connections. Its deep configuration is ideal for housing electrical devices that exceed 1e" in depth. The standard dark gray finish offers a professional appearance. All hubs feature NPT threads with a minimum of five full threads and an integral bushing. An internal grounding screw is standard on all FD series boxes. This device box meets NEC Article 370-28 and is suitable for wet locations when used with gasketed covers, meeting NEMA 3R requirements.
