ABB E945M (SKU: E945M) is a 3-1/2 inch gray PVC Coupling End Expansion Fitting for Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 rigid PVC conduit. It manages thermal expansion/contraction and deflection in piping systems. Durable PVC construction offers corrosion and chemical resistance, suitable for direct burial and embedded concrete. Smooth gray PVC coupling ends and inner sleeve ensure a constant inner diameter for easier wire pulling and protection of insulation. Installation can be up to five times faster, with potential SKU reduction. As part of the Carlon® non-metallic expansion/deflection coupling system, it meets 2014 NEC Article 300.4(H) for raceways crossing structural joints. Suitable for indoor, outdoor, direct burial, or embedded concrete. Features a flexible neoprene outer jacket with tamperproof stainless steel straps for protection and corrosion resistance in wet locations. UV resistant. Material: Gray PVC coupling ends/inner sleeve; black neoprene outer jacket; stainless steel straps. Compatibility: Schedule 40/80 rigid PVC conduit.
