How to Install the DN415 Door Switch
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and wiring the DN415 Door Switch for indoor use on sliding or hinged doors.

Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Wire connectors, Ground screw (self-tapping)
- Select and mount the backbox
Choose a suitable location for the Door Switch and install the Backbox using the four wood screws provided.
- Feed power lines and ground wire
Feed the incoming 125Vac Power Lines and Ground Wire through the Access Port and into the Backbox.
- Connect power lines and ground wire
Secure the ground wire to the .35" deep stand-off in the Backbox using a self-tapping ground screw. Connect the two Wire Leads from the Door Switch assembly to the 125Vac Power Lines using wire connectors.
- Push wires into the backbox
Carefully push the connected wires into the Backbox to avoid any damage.
- Attach the faceplate
Secure the Faceplate to the Backbox using the two #6 Flat Head Screws.
