The ABB CLNPL21/2SA-G Urethane Coated Conduit Nipple Fitting is a precision-engineered aluminum fitting designed for electrical conduit systems requiring corrosion-resistant, leak-proof connections in harsh environments. This fitting features a 2-1/2 inch (63 metric) pipe size with a close thread configuration, ensuring tight joints where standard couplings cannot be used. Constructed from rigid aluminum for lightweight durability, the exterior is coated with a minimum 0.040" (40 mil) gray PVC layer for superior corrosion protection, while the threads receive a 0.002" (2 mil) blue urethane coating to prevent galling and ensure leak-proof sealing. The blue urethane coating over threads enhances thread lubrication and corrosion resistance, critical for outdoor or chemically aggressive installations. Standard color-coded thread protectors enable quick size identification during field installations. This fitting is part of ABB's Ocal-Blue® corrosion-resistant conduit system, compatible with PVC-coated steel or aluminum conduit. Available in 11 standard lengths (close, 2" to 12"), custom lengths can be requested. The product includes stainless steel hardware (sold separately) for secure assembly.
