Locknut (if applicable, check catalog number)
- Disconnect Power
WARNING: RISK OF SHOCK. Disconnect all power before beginning installation.
- Prepare the Enclosure
Drill a hole in the enclosure of the appropriate size for your CC-PG36-B catalog number. Refer to the product's datasheet for specific hole size requirements based on the thread size (NPT or PG) and clamping range.
- Install the Cable Gland Body
Insert the threaded body of the CC-PG36-B into the prepared hole from the outside of the enclosure. If a locknut is required for your specific catalog number, ensure it is readily available.
- Secure the Cable Gland
From the inside of the enclosure, thread the locknut (if applicable) onto the body of the CC-PG36-B. Tighten securely to ensure a watertight seal. For models without a separate locknut, ensure the gland is tightened appropriately into the enclosure's threaded opening.
- Insert the Cable
Loosen the cap of the CC-PG36-B. Insert the cable through the gland, ensuring it passes through the sealing ring and the clamping range is suitable for the cable diameter. Refer to the product's datasheet for the correct clamping range for your cable.
- Tighten the Cap
