- Disconnect Power
WARNING: Before beginning any installation, disconnect all power to the equipment where the cable gland will be installed to prevent risk of shock.
- Prepare Mounting Hole
Ensure the mounting hole in the enclosure is correctly sized for the 29 PG thread of the CC-PG29-G cable gland. The gland has a clamping range of 0.709" / 18mm to 0.984" / 25mm.
- Install Gland Body and Locknut
Insert the main body of the CC-PG29-G cable gland into the prepared hole. From the inside of the enclosure, thread and tighten the LN-PG29-G locknut onto the gland to secure it firmly. Use a wrench for proper tightening.
- Insert and Secure Cable
Pass the cable through the gland's opening. Tighten the gland's cap to compress the internal sealing mechanism around the cable, providing strain relief and maintaining the NEMA type 4X/6 and IP68 seal. Ensure the cable is within the specified clamping range.
