How to Install the CC-ISO32-G Non-Metallic Cable Gland

CC-ISO32-G Cable Gland, LN-ISO-32-G Locknut, Electrical cable
- Disconnect Power
Before beginning any installation, ensure that all power to the equipment or circuit where the cable gland will be installed is disconnected to prevent risk of electric shock.
- Prepare Mounting Hole
Verify that the mounting hole is clean and correctly sized for the 32mm ISO thread of the CC-ISO32-G cable gland. The hole should allow the gland to pass through and the locknut to secure it firmly.
- Install Gland Body and Locknut
Insert the threaded body of the CC-ISO32-G cable gland into the prepared opening. On the opposite side of the mounting surface, thread on and tighten the LN-ISO-32-G locknut using a wrench to ensure a secure and watertight seal, meeting NEMA 4X/6 and IP68 requirements.
- Insert and Secure Cable
Feed the electrical cable through the installed cable gland. Ensure the cable's diameter is within the gland's clamping range of 0.709” (18mm) to 0.984” (25mm). Tighten the gland's cap firmly to provide strain relief and maintain the environmental seal.
