The ABB BUB5-G1 Mogul Conduit Body (SKU: BUB5-G1) from ABB Installation Products is engineered for robust electrical system management in demanding industrial settings. This mogul-sized conduit body features a 1-1/2 inch (41 metric) pipe size, designed to facilitate easy pulling of large or stiff conductors, prevent sharp bends, and provide ample space for splicing and maintenance. Constructed from Class 30 Gray iron alloy, it offers inherent strength and durability. The exterior is protected by a nominal 0.040" (40 mil) PVC coating, bonded for superior corrosion resistance. Additionally, an interior nominal 0.002" (2 mil) blue urethane layer further enhances protection. The standard finish includes electrogalvanized and aluminum acrylic paint beneath the PVC coating, ensuring long-term performance against environmental factors. This conduit body is UL listed for wet locations and meets Federal Specification W-C-586d and CSA Standard C22.2 No.18. It comes complete with a cover and gasket, featuring a molded flange and integral O-ring seal for a raintight, weather-tight connection, compliant with NEC Article 370-28, 6-1 Ratio. The dark gray color is standard, with custom colors available upon request. Applications include pull outlets for conductors, branch conductor splicing, and access for maintenance in industrial machinery, power distribution, and control panels.
