The product must be installed in accordance with applicable national and local electrical codes.

The BEM series are nickel plated brass EMC cable glands with an internal grounding mechanism, providing earth continuity for shielded and screened cables.

The gland is constructed from nickel plated brass, with chloroprene seals and tinned copper EMC contacts.

The normal operating temperature range for the cable gland is -20°C to +100°C (-4°F to 212°F).

The product has IP66 and IP68 (5 bar 30 mins) ingress protection ratings, and also NEMA 4.

These glands are suitable for shielded/screened non-armoured, portable, tray, COAX, and Signal cable types.

The product conforms to UL514B/CSA C22.2 No 18.3, EN 62444, RoHS, WEEE, and LVD directives.

The BEM-0502 has a cable clamping range from 7.5 mm (0.295 in) to 14.0 mm (0.551 in).

The BEM-0502 has a shield clamping range from 5.5 mm (0.217 in) to 11.5 mm (0.453 in).

The BEM-0502 cable gland uses a 1/2 inch NPT thread.
