Constructed from Class 30 gray iron alloy with an electrogalvanized finish and a double-coat of PVC (0.002" blue urethane interior/exterior + 0.040" exterior PVC), this straight, thru-feed conduit body delivers superior corrosion resistance in harsh environments. The tapered tapped hubs include integral bushings and pressure-sealing sleeves to protect conductor insulation during installation and operation. Certified to UL 514B, CSA C22.2 No.18, and Fed. Spec. W-C-586d, the BC9-G is UL-listed for wet locations, ensuring compliance with stringent electrical safety standards. The encapsulated stainless steel cover screws and included gasket provide secure, maintenance-free access for wire pulling, splicing, and system modifications.
