The ABB BB610MV Single Lever Locking Base with Cover is a high-capacity terminal block designed for secure, high-current industrial electrical connections. The NPT threaded entry (1 Inch x 1/2 Inch) ensures compatibility with standard industrial conduit systems, simplifying installation and maintenance. The terminal accommodates rigid solid/stranded wires (1 x 1.0–2.5 mm² or 2 x 1.0–2.5 mm²), flexible wires with non-insulated ferrules (1 x 0.75–2.5 mm² or 2 x 0.75–2.5 mm²), and flexible wires with insulated ferrules (1 x 0.75–2.5 mm² or 2 x 0.75–1.5 mm²). UL/CSA-rated for 1 or 2 x AWG 18–14, the BB610MV delivers a connection capacity of up to 63 A, with a tightening torque of 1.2 Nm (11 lb-in) for consistent, vibration-resistant connections. The device is rated IP20 for basic protection against solid objects and is delivered with terminals in the open position; unused terminals must be tightened to maintain integrity. All terminals use M3.5 screws and require a Pozidriv 2 or flat Ø 5.5 screwdriver. The BB610MV mounts securely on a 35 mm DIN rail (EN 60715) via a fast clip device, supporting any mounting position. Withdrawal from the busbar is tool-free from the bottom (excluding 125 A models). Dimensions are 85 x 69 x 35 mm (H x D x W) for 2P configurations, expanding to 85 x 69 x 70 mm for 4P configurations.
