This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the AB221 Superstrut® C-Connector on a threaded rod trapeze system.

Supplies needed:
Trapnut® Strut Fasteners, Trap-Eze™ C-Connectors, Strut
- Install Trapnut® Strut Fasteners
Attach two Trapnut® Strut Fasteners to the threaded rod of the trapeze. Ensure they are positioned to allow the Trap-Eze™ C-Connector to be maneuvered onto the rod.
- Position the C-Connector
Maneuver the Trap-Eze™ C-Connector onto the threaded rod. Turn the top Trapnut® Strut Fastener downward until it is snug against the C-Connector, leaving no more than a 1/2” gap above it.
- Secure the Strut
Cut the strut to be 5/8” to 1-1/4” shorter than the center-to-center distance between the rods. Place the strut sideways in the Trap-Eze™ C-Connectors to secure the assembly in place.
