6UNICR-CHASCR or 6UNICR-CHCU/AL Cutting Jaws
- Prepare the Hydraulic Tool
Before starting, ensure the hydraulic tool's power is disconnected to prevent shock. Wear safety goggles. Retract the ram of the hydraulic tool by pressing the Release Button.
- Remove Existing Jaw
Pull the Slide Pin out to disengage and remove any existing Compression Jaw from the tool Body Head. The Slide Pin remains permanently attached to the Body Head.
- Align New Cutting Jaw
Position the new Cutting Jaw (6UNICR-CHASCR or 6UNICR-CHCU/AL) in line with the tool's Body Head, ensuring it is ready to slide in.
- Insert Cutting Jaw
Carefully slide the Cutting Jaw fully into the Body Head of the hydraulic tool.
- Secure the Cutting Jaw
Once the Cutting Jaw is properly aligned with the Slide Pin, push the Slide Pin inward to securely lock the Cutting Jaw with the Body Head.
- Verify and Prepare for Operation
Confirm the Cutting Jaw is firmly locked in place. The hydraulic tool is now ready for operation. Remember to keep all body parts away from moving parts during operation due to pinch point hazards.
