Supplies needed:
Double male pin, Silicone grease, Ty-Rap® cable ties
- Select and install connectors
Choose the appropriate T&B connectors for your motor and line wire size. Install the female disconnects according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Insert double male pin
Insert the double male pin between the two female disconnects to establish a secure connection.
- Apply silicone grease
Deposit all silicone grease into the bottom of the boot to ensure a proper seal and prevent rubber deterioration.
- Seat the connectors
Ensure that the connectors are properly seated by fully inserting the motor disconnects to the bottom of the boot.
- Secure with Ty-Rap® cable ties
Wrap the first Ty-Rap® cable tie around the cables about one inch above the boot, but do not tighten yet. Then, place the second Ty-Rap® cable tie between the two cables on top of the first tie and the bottom of the boot.
- Tighten cable ties
Secure the first Ty-Rap® cable tie tightly around the cables, followed by securing the second cable tie. Be careful not to over-tighten.
