Overview

The ABB 52151 CVX Square Box is a 21 cubic inch electrical enclosure designed for secure termination of armored (Type AC) and metal-clad (Type MC) cables in industrial and commercial installations. Constructed from pre-galvanized steel, this 4" x 4" x 1.5" deep box provides superior corrosion resistance for exposed, outdoor, or high-moisture environments. The box features 1/2" and 3/4" eccentric knockouts on each side, end, and bottom, allowing flexible cable entry for conduit sizes ranging from 1/2" to 3/4". This design eliminates the need for additional fittings, reducing installation time and material costs. Per UL 514A, the 52151 CVX is suitable for use without a bonding jumper in circuits above or below 250 volts. The box includes a 10.5" long #12 AWG insulated pigtail wire for grounding. With a compact footprint and flush-mount design, the 52151 CVX integrates seamlessly into drywall, concrete, or metal stud installations, providing a clean, professional finish. Ideal for commercial buildings, industrial facilities, utility installations, and utility rooms, this box delivers reliable protection for electrical components while optimizing space utilization and wire management.
