The ABB Spec-Setter safety switch, SKU THF4325A1, is a rugged, reliable, and easy-to-install fused disconnect switch designed for industrial and commercial applications. This heavy-duty (HD) unit features a 3-pole configuration and a 400A current rating, operating at 240V. The NEMA 1 enclosure provides protection against solid foreign objects, making it suitable for indoor installations where dust and incidental contact are concerns. Engineered for ease of installation and maintenance, the Spec-Setter series minimizes downtime. It is UL and CSA listed, ensuring compliance with industry standards. The switch incorporates primary fuse holders and supports a single primary fuse. It is compatible with fuse types such as gG. Specific short-circuit protective device ratings and setting ranges are available depending on the fuse used. For example, a 40.0 A fuse (Type TF42-16) can be used with a setting range of 13.0-16.0 A, a 224 A fuse (Type TF140DU-110) with a setting range of 80-110 A, or a 63.0 A fuse (Type TF42-29) with a setting range of 24.0-29.0 A. The insulation system is rated for 105°C, and the temperature rise is limited to 55°C.
