Rated for 500 A, the OS16 substructure is engineered with pre-drilled holes for secure mounting of shelves, supports, busbars, or terminal lugs. The primary stabs also feature holes for direct bolting to busbars or terminal lugs, ensuring reliable electrical connections. Substructure secondary disconnects, such as the SPDOSD36S, are ordered and priced separately and are essential for control wiring connections in the 'TEST' and 'CONNECTED' positions. These disconnects support up to 72 control circuits via 36-position plug-style blocks. For applications requiring auxiliary switches or other electrical accessories, two secondary disconnects may be necessary. The substructure is compatible with both standard and Hi-Break Power Break™ II breakers. Accessories like dead-front shutters (DSS) and padlock provisions are available for enhanced safety.
