The National Electric Code now permits Edison-base fuses to be used only for replacements in existing installations, and then, only when there is no evidence of overfusing or tampering. All new Edison-based fuseholders must have Type S fuse adapters installed before they are placed in service. Designed to prevent installation of wrong size fuses, Type S Adapters (SAO series) screw into Edison-base fuseholders so they may accept Type S fuses. Once installed the adapters cannot be removed. To prevent shunting of open fuses or overfusing, and to reduce nuisance fuse opening, it is recommended that SAO adapters with properly rated SLO or SOO series fuses be installed in all Edison-base fuseholders.

Motorized Potentiometer 230-240V AC, 5k. The E7800 Motorized Potentiometer is typically used as an interface between increase/decrease relay contacts (or push buttons) and a device requiring control by an external potentiometer (e.g. the speed trim of an electronic governor). All three wires of the potentiometer are directly accessible on external connection terminals, thus providing the best possible flexibility for almost any application. Littelfuse MSXL Series external mount microswitches offer permanent blown fuse indication to PSX Series High-Speed Square-Body Semiconductor Fuses. They have one normally open (N.O.) and one normally closed (N.C.) contact rated for 4A, 250 V ac. These microswitches have a visual red flap or arm indicator that releases after fuse blown condition and can also be used for resetting the microswitch contacts. The ISS-105 is a “smart” five-channel intrinsically safe relay and pump controller. The ISS-105 can be configured for a wide variety of applications including alternating or non-alternating duplex, duplex separate pump stop (SPS), triplex and quadplex applications. It can be set up for pump-up or pump-down applications or can be used as a five-channel relay. The ISS-105 has a long list of features that are needed for multiple pump applications. The ISS-105 can indicate low, high and out-of-sequence alarms. If an out-of-sequence alarm occurs, the skipped pump(s) will be started as intended. The Model ISS-105 can be set up to do non-alternating control, alternating control and alternating control with one non-alternating pump. The non-alternating pump is intended for use with an emergency or jockey pump. The ISS-105 can start an emergency pump once every 50 cycles to keep it working freely. Using the built-in DIP switches, individual pumps can be disabled when taken out of service for repair or maintenance.
