Littelfuse · SE 330 Series
SE-330-23-10
NGR MONITOR 48-VDC ETHERNET CE. The SE-330 is an advanced ground-fault and neutral-grounding resistor monitoring relay. It measures neutral current, neutral-to ground voltage, and neutral-to-ground resistance. It provides continuous monitoring of the neutral-to-ground path to verify that the neutral-grounding resistor (NGR) is intact. This is of utmost importance—an open NGR renders current-sensing ground-fault protection inoperative and could result in a false belief that the system is functioning properly. The SE-330 can be used with low- and medium-voltage transformers and generators with low- or high-resistance grounding used in processing, manufacturing, chemical, pulp and paper, petroleum, and water-treatment facilities. For high-voltage applications, use the SE-330HV. For applications that require conformance to Australian standard AS/NZS 2081.3:2002, see the SE-330AU. The SE-330 New Revision provides these additional features: 100 trip records with date and time stamp. A mini-USB interface to view measured values, configure settings and check event records using SE-MON330 v3.2 or later. An on-board microSD card (included) can be used for long term data logging and firmware upgrades. Ground-fault trip level is adjustable from 2 to 100percent in 10 discrete settings, and in 1percent increments when using the MEM setting and SE-MON330 v3.2 or later. Dual Ethernet ports are optionally available with support for fiber and RJ45 interfaces. IEC 61850 protocol is optionally available. COMPUTER TO RELAY CONNECTION: Connect the SE-330 to the network using astandard Ethernet patch cable. Use of a crossover cable to connect the SE-330 directly to the computer running IP-Config is not recommended. A typical router will assign an IP address to all connected computers that are using DHCP. The SE-330 does not support the use of DHCP. If the SE-330 is being set-up for first time, it is recommended to only have one SE-330 connected to the network to prevent communication errors.

Littelfuse · M8100 Series
M8100.0170
Synchroscope. The M8100 Synchroscope provides illuminated indication of the frequency and phase deviation between voltages on two separate AC systems (e.g. a generator and a busbar). The M8100 will also indicate whether or not the two systems are live. A moving light dot indicates the frequency deviation. The magnitude of the frequency deviation is indicated by the speed and direction of the movement. Clockwise movement indicates that the frequency is too high on the incoming system. Counter clockwise movement indicates that the frequency is too low. A steady light dot at 6 o’clock position indicates zero frequency deviation and 180 degrees phase deviation. Exact synchronization. frequency and phase accordance is achieved when the light dot is steady at the 12 o’clock position (when the green LEDs ignite). The M8100 scale is made up from 38 bright red LEDs. The resolution provided by the 38 LEDs is almost as fine as a pointer synchroscope, however the LED based design is far better at withstanding environmental influence from vibration, temperature and humidity.

RK1 fuses are extremely current-limiting fuses meaning they greatly reduce or eliminate damage to circuits and equipment under short-circuit conditions. Replacing existing Class H, K and RK5 fuses with RK1 fuses is one of the easiest ways to immediately improve the protection of plant workers and equipment.

NLN series fuses provide low cost protection for general-purpose feeder and branch circuits when available short circuit currents are less than 50,000 amperes. They replace all Class H fuses which have only a 10,000 ampere interrupting rating. They are suitable for use in many residential and smaller commercial and industrial applications. NLKP series fuses are Canadian “Code” fuses specifically designed to meet Canadian Electrical Code Type P fuse requirements for residential use. They have a 10,000 ampere interrupting rating. However, to obtain the added benefits of time-delay, current-limitation, and higher interrupting rating, consider the use of POWR-PRO™ IDSR Indicator™ fuses for circuits between 250 and 600 volts. The user gets all the benefits of time-delay RK5 fuses plus the added benefits of a n indicating fuse that tells when it has opened. Complete information on these fuses may be found in the POWR-PRO™ section of this catalog. For circuits up to 250 volts, see FLNR fuses in this section of the catalog.
