The nVent HOFFMAN Vortex Cooler Generator Kit (SKU: VAGK09) is a refrigerant-free cooling solution for 900 BTU Vortex Coolers, ideal for industrial enclosures. Engineered by nVent, this kit leverages the Ranque-Hilsch effect to convert compressed air into chilled air without moving parts, ensuring high reliability and low maintenance. Constructed from durable red nylon, it withstands harsh environments up to 175°F (80°C) while maintaining UL/cUL Type 4, 4X, or Type 12 enclosure ratings when properly installed. The kit includes a five-micron automatic drain compressed air filter, cold ducting, and a muffler for quieter operation (60-75 dB). A mechanical thermostat optimizes energy use by adjusting cooling output based on enclosure temperature.
