This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the SPECTRACOOL Slim Fit Air Conditioner, ensuring proper setup and functionality.

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Mounting gasket
- Inspect the air conditioner
Verify the air conditioner is functioning correctly before installation. Ensure it has been upright for at least five minutes if it was previously horizontal.
- Mount the air conditioner
Install the mounting gasket on the air conditioner. Use the supplied grub screws to secure it to the enclosure, ensuring not to damage the gasket.
- Connect the power supply
Loosen the screw on the evaporator access panel, route the power supply wire through the strain relief, and connect it to the terminal block as labeled. Reinstall the access panel and tighten the strain relief screw.
- Set the cooling controller
Adjust the cooling controller to the desired cabinet temperature. Ensure the cooling set-point is below the ambient temperature to activate the compressor.
- Test the air conditioner
After applying power, check that the evaporator blower starts running. Allow the compressor to run for five to ten minutes to ensure proper operation.
