Overview

The nVent PF22106 CADDY Pyramid Roof Flashing is engineered for reliable pipe and equipment support on sloped roofs. This flashing features a pre-molded EPDM collar that effectively seals around pipes, preventing roof leaks. Its robust aluminum base plate offers a slip-resistant surface for secure mounting. Designed for sloped roofs ranging from 2:12 to 12:12 pitch (9° to 45°), the PF22106 eliminates the need for cutting roof membranes, simplifying installation. It is compatible with most roofing membranes and suitable for exposed roof applications due to its UV-stabilized EPDM collar. The flashing supports pipe outer diameters from 1" to 6" (25-152 mm) and has a maximum load rating of 400 lb (1814 N). Installation is straightforward, requiring screws to secure the base to the roof deck without adhesives. Tested to FM 4471 Class 1 Roof Flashings standards, the nVent PF22106 provides a durable and leak-proof solution for rooftop installations. Dimensions are 22" x 10" x 6" (559 mm x 254 mm x 152 mm), with a weight of 2.6 lb (1.2 kg).

How to Safely Handle and Install Large Enclosures

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for safely handling, transporting, and installing large enclosures to avoid injury and equipment damage.

Estimated time: 1h

Tools needed:

Forklift, Screwdriver, Multimeter

Supplies needed:

3000 lb-rated chain or strap, Mounting screws

  1. Prepare the area

Ensure the route for transporting the enclosure is clear of obstructions and that all workers are at a safe distance, more than the height of the enclosure.

  2. Secure the enclosure for transport

Insert a 3000 lb-rated chain or strap through the eye bolts on top of the enclosure and securely fasten it to the forklift mast assembly to prevent tipping.

  3. Lift and transport the enclosure

Carefully lift the enclosure a minimum distance so the skid is just clear of the floor. Drive slowly with the forks carried low to the ground.

  4. Mount the enclosure

Once in position, secure the enclosure to the mounting surface using the provided mounting screws. Ensure it is level and firmly attached.

  5. Verify installation

Check that the enclosure is securely mounted and that all connections are tight. Use a multimeter to verify electrical connections if applicable.
